COLUMBIA, S.C. --- The Delaware State men's and women's track & field teams closed out the Weems Baskin Invitational hosted by University of South Carolina on Saturday.

With two individual top-five finishers and one top-five team finish, the men's team were led by
Tayshaun Chisholm,
Andre Carr, Jr. and the 4 x 100 Meter Relay team.

Chisholm claimed fourth place in the 110 Meter Hurdles with a final time of 14.00 seconds while Carr, Jr. took fifth place in the 100 Meters with a time of 10.66 seconds.

Evan Knox,
Jaden Shelton,
Malachi Little and
Andre Carr, Jr. took fifth in the 4 x 100 Meter Relay after clocking a time of 40.72 seconds.

Little claimed an individual top-eight finish after coming in sixth place in the 200 Meter with a time of 21.29 seconds.

Catherine Glenn followed up her day one performances with a sixth-place finish in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 13.72 seconds.

Delaware State men's and women's track and field teams will return to action next weekend at the Towson Invitational hosted by Towson University. Â
