BALTIMORE, MD – The Delaware State University women's tennis team finished second, third, and fifth in the final day of the McClure Invitational Sunday afternoon at McClure Tennis Center at Ridley Athletic Complex.
Kit Yi Kaye Au-Yeung and Eva Golembiovski fell to their opponents 6-1 in the finals to take second at the McClure Invitational.
Kit Yi Kaye Au-Yeung defeated her opponent (7-5, 3-0) in a single play to claim the singles draw championship.
(7-5, 6-1) to move on to the semi-finals.
Clara Kuehnle and Daria Jula took third after capturing the win over their opponent 6-2.
Clara Kuehnle won her singles match (6-3,6-3). Daria Jula claimed the win in her singles match (6-4,6-2).
Noelani Lui dropped in singles but got back up in doubles play with Klaudija Lisovska, defeating their opponents (6-0) to finish fifth.
Lisovska defeated her opponent to win her singles match (6-4, 6-0).
