Rehoboth Beach, Del. (Sep. 20, 2022) --- Delaware State's Anna Ferreyra-Heit topped three other players in a playoff to take first place in the Hornets' Classic at the Creek at Kings Creek Country Club today.
Delaware State was fourth in the 11-team standings with a three-day total of 913 (+61). Sacred Heart took the team title at 886 (+34), followed by runner-up Howard (892; +40) and third place Lehigh (910; +58).
Ferreyra-Heit was fourth in the field of 65 competitors with a two-day score of 147, but she tied for the best score at 72 (+1) today, to join Kendall Jackson of Howard, Lehigh's Evelyn Wong and Kyra Cox of Howard in the playoff round with final scores of 219 (+6) each.
