Dover, Del. (Oct. 6, 2022) --- Delaware State's Ana Ferreyra-Heit (Gr.) has been honored by the Northeast Conference (NEC) for her performances during the month of September.
Ferreyra-Heit has been selected as the NEC Women's Co-Golfer of the Month after posting top-10 finishes in all three tournaments in which she competed, while compiling an average score 73.5 per round.
Her month was highlighted by a first-place finish at Delaware State's Classic at the Creek with a three-day score of 219  (73 avg.). She defeated three other competitors in a playoff to capture the singles title.
Ferreyra-Heit also took second place at the Navy Invitational (77-73) and placed eighth at the William & Mary Invitational, posting a score of 73 all three rounds.
