Dover-area McDonald’s® offering free “Big Macs for Sacks” in support of DSU Football

DOVER, De. (August 31, 2021) – With the kick-off to the 2021 Delaware State Hornets football season just days away, your local McDonald's® is inviting customers to enjoy a Big Mac® sandwich for free if the Hornets sack the opposing team's quarterback in any of this season's matchups.
 
It's called "Big Macs for Sacks!" If the DSU Hornets football team sacks the opposing team's QB, customers can redeem a Buy One, Get One Free Big Mac offer through the McDonald's Mobile App® the next day.
 
"As a proud supporter of Delaware State Athletics, we're excited to give fans a little something extra to root for as they're watching the Hornets this season," Local McDonald's Owner/Operator Michael Meoli said. "I know my team and I will be cheering right alongside you and we look forward to serving our loyal customers at one of our Dover-area McDonald's restaurants very soon!"

The Details
Customers should download the McDonald's Mobile App through the App Store or Google Play. If the Hornets sack the opposing team's QB, customers will automatically see the offer appear in their app the next day. Just bring the code to your nearest Dover-area McDonald's restaurant to redeem the offer.
 
The offer is good after 11:00 a.m. the day after the game for one day only during each game of the 2021 Hornets football season. Check back each week to see if the Hornets made a sack to know if you can redeem your offer.

About Delaware  State Athletics
Delaware State University fields 19 NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics teams in six men's sports (baseball, basketball, football, cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field), and in 13 women's sports (basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross country, equestrian, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and field, volleyball).
