Towson, MD (April 2-3) --- Delaware State finishes eighth in the Towson Invitational with 34 points.
Catherine Glenn leads the way with a second-place finish in the 100 hurdles, finishing with a time of 14.32 seconds, a season best time for the freshman. Her performance gave DSU eight points.
The 4 x 400 relay, comprising of Blair Daniel, Kyra Lyles, Khaliyah White and Catherine Glenn cross the finish line in 3-minutes-56.74 seconds for a third-place finish. Scoring six points for DSU.
Tiajah Robinson also places in third with a mark of 1.60 meters in the high jump. This is her second straight time placing in the top three in the event. Her performance also gives DSU an additional six points.
The 4 x 100 relay team, Khaliyah White, Safarya Chealde, Aaliyah Robinson and Kyra Lyles finish fifth with a time of 47.73 seconds, scoring four points for the Hornets.
Amber Conyers finish sixth in the long jump with a mark of 5.48 meters.
Khaliyah White (25.60) and Kyra Lyles (25.75) finish in seventh and eighth place respectively totaling three points for the Hornets in the 200 meters.
Amber Pelle finishes eighth in the javelin with a throw that went 25.66 meters.
