Fairfax, Va. (Apr. 18. 2021) --- George Mason won four of six singles matches and two of three doubles contests to defeat Delaware State 5-2 in a Sunday non-conference battle.
Klaudia Lisovska and Daria Julia each won in straight sets for the Hornets' singles victories.
Lisovska was a 6-3, 6-4 winner in the No. 2 contest, while Julia was a 6-4, 6-3 victor in the No. 3 match.
Julia was a two-time winner in the match, teaming up with Iris Leder for a 6-3 victory in the No. 2 doubles contest.     
The Hornets will close out the 2021 regular season with a visit to Rider on Wed. (Apr. 20) before competing in the MEAC Tournament Apr. 23-25 in Norfolk, Va.
