Salisbury, MD (April 10) --- The Hornets competed in the Salisbury University Eastern Shore Challenge on Saturday. The Hornets showed no signs of fatigue, after hosting their own meet just three days prior, as several of their athletes finished first in their respective events. They finish second out of 11 teams with 126 total points, despite only a small contingent of Hornets' competing in the invite.

Albert Norman places first in the 3000 steeplechase, recording a time of 10:03.42. The second fastest time in the MEAC thus far this season.

Jalen Jasmin finishes first in the 100 meters with at time of 10.82 seconds. Thomas Kalieta Jr. finishes fourth, crossing the finish line at 11.07 seconds.  

Dante Artis places first with 22.29 seconds in the 200 meters and first in the 400 meters with a time of 50.14 seconds, career best times in both events.

Jared Keaton finishes first in the 110 hurdles at 15.50 seconds.

Jalen Jasmin finishes in first place for the second time, in the invitational, with a mark of 6.97 meters in the long jump. Forrest Booker finishes second in the long jump with a mark of 6.59 meters.

Thomas White finishes first in the triple jump at 13.94 meters. Forrest Booker finishes second for the second time of the invitational, with 13.74 meters.

Emperor Campbell places first in the discus after a throw of 43.92 meters. Campbell now has three first place finishes in the event so far this season.

Andrew Horne places third in the shot put at 13.41 meters.

Emperor Campbell places third in the hammer with 41.80 meters. Andrew Horne finishes fourth in the same event at 37.59 meters.

Thomas White finishes fifth in the javelin with a throw of 36.20 meters.

Gregory Moore finishes sixth in the 800 meters, recording a time of 2:02.90.
