Ja'Mari Manson Earns MEAC Field Athlete of the Week

NORFOLK, Va., Apr. 30, 2025 —  Delaware State University Freshman Ja'Mari Manson earned Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors. 

Manson (Fr., Bloomfield, Conn.) captured first place in the high jump at the prestigious Penn Relays with a leap of 2.15 meters, setting a new DSU school record. His mark ranks in the top 25 nationally and currently stands as the best in the MEAC this season.

Other Top Performers
·Marian Drazan
 finished 12th in the 3000m steeplechase at the Penn Relays with a time of 8:46.52, breaking the DSU school record and moving into second in the MEAC record book.

Up Next: The Hornets will be competing in the Larry Ellis Invite tomorrow.
