DOVER, Del. --- The Delaware State University triathlon team will compete in the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships hosted by USA Triathlon in Tempe, Arizona this weekend.
 
The Hornets last competed in the East Regional where they placed fifth overall and were led by Maria Garcia Rabago who finished 22nd individually. Carmen Medina also paced the Hornets in the Regional Qualifier with a top-50 finish as she clocked a time of 1:08:11 to place 47th. 
 
In addition to Rabago, Delaware State will be represented by Danielle Fleurima, Pamela Hernandez Quevedo, Chara Hinds, Carmen Medina and Ashley Stanley
  
Delaware State will be competing against Arizona State University, University of San Francisco, University of Denver, University of South Dakota, East Tennessee State University and Wagner University in the Division I field.
