Staten Island, NY (Feb. 1) --- Delaware State competed in the Villanova Invitational on Saturday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Amber Conyers leads the way with the Lady Hornets with a second-place finish in the long jump with 5.47 meters. Precious Igwebuike finishes fifth in the same event with 5.31 meters.
Conyers also places second with 11.67 meters in the triple jump as well.

T'keyah Macklin finishes third in the 60 meters with a time of 7.78 seconds. Macklin also places ninth in the 200 meters with a time of 25.74 seconds.

The Delaware State 'A' team of Cydney Davis, Lakendra Harpe, Donyae Shelton and Sylvia Okafor places sixth with a time of 3-minutes-57.97 seconds (3:57.97).

Lakendra Harpe (58.39 seconds) and Donyae Shelton (58.82 seconds) finishes seventh and eighth in the 400 meters.
