Landover, Md. (Jan 18.) --- The Delaware State Lady Hornets place third in the Terrapin Invite on Saturday afternoon. They scored 76.5 points on the day.

Precious Igwebuike finishes second (eight points) in the 60-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 9.30 seconds.  Kiara Hameed also finishes in the top ten with 10.06 seconds.

Amber Conyers places second (eight points) in the long jump with 5.43 meters, Igwebuike finishes fifth with 5.32 meters and Tiajah Robinson is also in the top ten with 4.75 meters.

Conyers places second again, first among collegiate jumpers (10 points), this time in the triple jump with 10.98 meters.

T'keyah Macklin places third (six points) in the 60-meter dash. Makiya Gayles finishes sixth (three points) with 8.19 seconds.  Lakia Hope places in seventh (two points) with 8.22 seconds.

Delaware State scores 13 of their 76.5 points in the 200 meters. Lakendra Harpe places third (six points) with a time of 26.32 seconds. T'Keyah Macklin was right behind her, finishing in fourth place (five points) with a time of 26.36 seconds. Ahnrea McCaskill places seventh (two points) with a time of 27.34 seconds. Makiya Gayles finishes in the top ten as well with 27.61 seconds.

Donyae Shelton places fourth (five points) in the 400-meter with a time of 1-minute-1.21 seconds (1:01.21).

Lakendra Harpe finishes in fifth place (four points) in the 300-meter crossing the finish line in 41.90 seconds and T'keyah Macklin finishes in sixth place (three points) with 42.80 seconds.

Precious Igwebuike places fifth (4.5 points) in the High Jump with 1.55 meters, and Tiajah Robinson finishes seventh (three points) with 1.50 meters

Sylvia Okafor finishes in seventh (three points) with 1:41.57 in the 600.

Precious Igwebuike shot put went 10.53 meters for a ninth-place finish while Ayanna Obey finishes in tenth place with 10.29 meters.
