The start time for today's Delaware State/Maryland Eastern Shore doubleheader has been pushed back to 3 pm on the DSU campus.

The Hornets are fighting for a berth in the upcoming MEAC Tournament, which involves the top four teams in the league's two divisions.

Delaware State is currently fifth in the MEAC's Northern Division with a 4-8 record, one game behind fourth place Coppin State at 5-7.

Coppin State is battling second place Morgan State in a three-game series this weekend.

Maryland-Eastern Shore is last in the six-team North race at 3-8 heading into the weekend competition.
