Baltimore, MD (Apr. 20) --- The Hornets finished tied for fifth in the Morgan State Legacy Track & Field Meet with 65 points.
Julian Brown placed second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 55.06 seconds, Austin Goodwin placed third with a time of 56.53 seconds and Donte Rolley-Williams placed ninth crossing the finish line in 58.56 seconds.
Roderick Brown placed second in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.69 meters, Karim Beatty finished in sixth (6.48 m).
Forrest Booker placed fourth in the Triple Jump with a distance of 13.87 meters and Karim Beatty placed eighth (12.49 m).
Caleb Giles finished fourth in the 3000 Steeplechase with a time of 10-minutes-59.64 seconds (10:59.64). Jose Infante-Rosales placed fifth (11:47.00).
Robert Duncan finished fourth in the Discus with a mark of 46.60 meters. Duncan placed fifth in the Hammer throw with a mark of 34.70 meters.
The short-handed team of DeVonte Doward, Telvin Collins & Dante Artis ran the 4 x 100 relay race in 42.14 seconds for a sixth-place finish.
The 4 x 400 relay team placed ninth (Dante Artis, Austin Goodwin, Telvin Collins and Jared Keaton) with a time of 3:34.86.
Julius Allen placed ninth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.70 seconds. A career best time for the senior and his performance also qualified him for the IC4A/ECAC championships.
Corey McGhie placed ninth in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:15.32.
Andrew Horne's mark of 12.78 meters in the Shot Put was also good enough for ninth place.
