DSU SOCCER TO CLOSE OUT 2019 SEASON WITH SAT. MATCH

Dover, Del. (Nov. 1, 2019) --- The Delaware State women's soccer team wraps up its 2019 season with a home match against the Maine Fort Kent Bengals on Saturday (Nov. 2). Start time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Alumni Stadium.

Prior to the match, the Hornets will honor senior players Braxton Clark, Katrina Silva, Alyssa Coustenis, Jasmine Warren and Jasmine White.

Delaware State is winless in 17 matches this season. The Hornets have been idle since a 4-0 loss to Temple on Oct. 27.

Mary O'Conner is DSU's leader with two goals and six points. Coustenis has one goal and an assist to rank second on the Hornets with three points.

Maine Fort Kent, a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, is 10-4 entering a Fri. (Nov. 1) match against Ramapo College of New Jersey.

This will be the second meeting between the  Hornets and Bengals. The teams played to a 1-1 tie at Alumni Stadium in 2017.
