NEW HAVEN, Connecticut -- Delaware St. grabbed their third conference win over New Haven, 2-1, Sunday on the road at Kathy Zolad Stadium.
The win improved Delaware St.'s record to (5-7-3, 3-3-1).
How it Happened
The Hornets got on the board early when Aryanna Peregrino scored in the first four minutes, assisted by Abigail Carroll.
The Hornets tacked on another goal at the 29-minute mark.
New Haven narrowed the gap to 2-1 on Caleigh Wynter's 82-minute goal. The 2-1 score held to the end of the game.
Game Highlights:

- The Hornets held the Chargers to 6 total shots and only 5 on goal.
