Binghamton, N.Y. (Sep. 4, 2010) --- Binghamton scored the game's only goal in the sixth minute to defeat Delaware State in women's soccer Friday evening.  

 Kaitlyn Cook fired a shot past Delaware State goal keeper Alexandria Young from eight yards out just 5:17 into the match for the only score of the contest. Sarah Furmdinger and AnnMarie Rizzi were credited with assists on the goal.  

The Hornets had just two shots in the contest (one on goal), each by Jeanette Salgado. Young recorded seven saves in her first collegiate start for Delaware State.  

 Binghamton had 22 shots, eight on goal.
