LOUDONVILLE, NY --The Delaware State volleyball team fell to the Bucknell Bison 3-0 (21-25, 22-25, 13-25) Saturday at UHY Center.
The non-conference loss dropped Delaware State to 8-2 on the season.
Aaliyah Mitchell finished with 13 kills on the day to lead the Hornets offense. got 14 digs from Courtney Nix to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Hornets found themselves in an early hole, losing the first set 25-21. Bucknell grabbed the advantage for good at 19-18 in a set that was knotted up five times before the Bison took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 2 | Delaware State then dropped set two 25-22 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. Bucknell grabbed the advantage for good at 23-22 in a set that was tied up six times before the Bison took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 3 | Delaware State was not able to win the third set and was swept by Bucknell. The Hornets fell in a tough set 25-13. Delaware State trailed by as many as 13 points as Bucknell grabbed the advantage for good at 2-1 in a set that was tied up just once before the Bison took over the lead.
