Glassboro, NJ – April 13, 2025 — The Delaware State Hornets Men's Track & Field team turned in a strong showing at the Oscar Rowan Moore Invitational on Saturday, highlighted by a podium finish and a pair of solid performances that signal the squad's depth and growing momentum this season.
Leading the way for the Hornets was Ja'Mari Manson, who soared to a third-place finish in the men's high jump. Manson cleared the bar with authority, showing consistency and control throughout the event to secure the team's top result of the day.
On the track, Donovan Dixon continued his push with a fifth-place finish in the 400m hurdles. His steady rhythm and strong finish down the final straight put him in the mix in a competitive field.
The invitational also saw the season debut of Jeremy Gyan, who competed in the men's javelin throw. Gyan placed eighth overall, shaking off some early rust but showing glimpses of the power and technique
