TOWSON, MD -- The Delaware State Hornets continued their season at the Towson Invitational on March 28th-29th.
The Towson Invite was highlighted by multiple first-place finishes by the Hornets.

On the men's side, Christopher Johnson set the pace for the Hornets, becoming a double first-place winner in the invitational. Johnson was a force to be reckoned with, displaying his strength in the Shot Put with a 15.77 mark. He continued to contribute to the Hornets' success by taking first place in the Discus with a 45.12-meter mark. Kemond Felder made his mark in Hornets' history, earning the fourth-fastest time in DSU history after taking first place in the 110 Hurdles. Ja'Mari Manson solidified his place in school history by achieving a school record in the High Jump with a mark of 2.05 meters. Manson also took first place in the High Jump.
Malcolm Gray finished closely behind Manson in the High Jump, taking second place with a mark of 2.0 meters, showcasing dominance throughout the competition. Kyle Davenport also performed well in the High Jump, taking third place with a finish mark of 1.90 meters. The Hornets continued to excel in the field events, with Devin James finishing second in the Hammer Throw. Peter Kamanu took third place in the Pole Vault, closing out the Towson Invite for the Hornets.
