Women's Track Finishes Third at 2024 MEAC Outdoor Championship

NORFOLK, Virginia – The Delaware State women's track and field program wrapped up the Outdoor season finishing third at the 2024 MEAC Outdoor Championship on Wednesday at Norfolk State University. The Championship was highlighted by several podium finishes.

Final Results

On the women's side, Ashey Lagat got a bronze in the 3000 Steeple with a time of 11:28.02. Catherin Glenn made the podium with a third-place finish in the women's 100-meter hurdles. Glenn ran a 13.31. 

Chidubem Okwudibonye took the silver in the 400-meter hurdles, along with a huge personal best time of 58.43.

Annalise Bond took the silver in the pole vault with a jump of 3.29 meters. Amber Pelle had two appearances on the podium. Pelle placed third in the hammer with a throw of 48.74 and a bronze in the discus with a throw of 40.26.
