NEWARK, Del. – The Delaware State women's track and field program continued the Outdoor season competing at the University of Delaware Invitational on Saturday, April 6. The Invite was highlighted by two first finishes.

On the women's side, Chidubem Okwudibonye captured the first-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, posting a time of 1:04.14. Annalise Bond jumped 3.35 meters to take first in the pole vault. Leah Powell kept it going on the track finishing second in the 100-meters with a time of 12.11.
Ashley Lagat ran a 19:44.22, placing her second in the 5000-meter run. Kassidy Willey followed Bond with a second-place finish in the pole vault. Willey jumped 2.74 meters. Orianna Moore threw a 38.01 in the discus, placing second.
