PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania – The Delaware State women's track and field program continued the Outdoor season at the 2024 Penn Relays on Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27. The Meet was highlighted by several personal records.
Final Results
On the women's side, Miriam Okwudibonye ran a season-best time of 1:01.21 in the 400-meter hurdles. The 4x100-meter team (Miriam Okwudibonye, Catherine Glenn, Leah Powell, and Mariah Winfield) finished sixth in the college championship finals.
In the 100-meter hurdles Championship of America race where many 2023 All-Americans were present, DSU school record holder Catherine Glenn was rolling through the race but smacked hurdles five and six nearly falling on five. At the time, Glenn was shoulder to shoulder with the Penn Relays Champion from Ohio State who is ranked 15th in the country.
