The Hornets Rack Up Multiple First Place Finishes at Frank Colden Invitational.

COLLEGEVILLE, Pennsylvania – The Delaware State men's track and field program continued its indoor season on Saturday at the Frank Colden Invitational. The Invitational was highlighted by Marian Drazan breaking the school record in the 3000 meters.

Final Results

On the men's side, Jon Drew won 5000 meters with a time of 15:48.95. Drew also set a personal record in 3000 with a time of 9:04.53. Marian Drazan not only broke the school record in the 3000 but also took first with a time of 8:42.39.

Rahkeem Smith continued the victories with a first finish in the 60 meter dash. Smith posted a time of 6.87. Jaden Shelton took first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.11.

Peter Kamanu and Christopher Johnson took care of business in the field. Kamanu finshed first in the pole vault with a throw of 4.50 meters. Johnson took first in the shot put with a throw of 15.42 meters.

The men's 4x200 finished first with a time of 1:31.32. The 4x400 meter team wrapped up the meet with a first place finish with a time of 3:58.70.
