NORFOLK, Virginia – The Delaware State men's track and field program wrapped up the Indoor season finishing third at the 2024 MEAC Indoor Championship on Tuesday at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. The Championship was highlighted by several first place finishes.
Final Results
On the men's side, the Distance Medley Relay ( Devin Smith, Alonzo Sims Jr., Da'Shawn Keller, Marian Drazan) started off the podium action with a first place finish with a time of 10:11.14. Marian Drazan took the gold in the mile with a time of 4:12.91.
Tyrell Martin and Peter Kamanu held it down in the field events. Martin finished with the gold in the shot put with a throw of 15.97 meters. Kamanu stood first on the podium after jumping 4.40 meter in the pole vault. Jeremy Gyan finished 3rd in the heptathlon with total of 4563.
