WASHINGTON, District of Columbia -- Delaware State fell 38-0 to Howard on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Bison improved to 4-5 on the year and 1-1 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Hornets fell to 1-8 overall and 0-2 in conference matchups.
Jaden Sutton led all Hornets rushers with 50 yards in the contest, picking up 4.5 yards per carry. Jayden Jenkins also added 17 yards on the ground, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
NyGhee Lolley pulled in two catches for 18 yards.
Team showed out for the Delaware State defense, recording one recovered fumble. Eric Montes added five tackles, 1.0 TFL, and one sack and Sutton had in the loss.
