PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --- Delaware State senior hurdler
Tayshaun Chisholm, the Men's 4 x 100-Meter Relay team and the Men's 4 x 200 Meter Relay team all earned top finishes on in their respective championship events of the 2023 Penn Relays hosted by University of Pennsylvania.

Chisholm clocked a season-best time of 13.75 seconds in the College Men's 110m Hurdles Championship race to finish second place overall.

Jalen Booth-Mitchell turned in a time of 40.94 seconds to claim fourth place in the College Men's 4 x 100.

In the College Men's 4 x 200 Championship of America race, the team of
Alonzo Sims, Jr.,
Jalen Booth-Mitchell,
Jaden Shelton and
Malachi Brinkley placed sixth after clocking a time of 1:27.07.

Delaware State will now turn its attention to the 2023 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The three-day event is set to begin on Tuesday May 9 and run through Thursday May 11.
