Hornets drop game two to Lancers

FARMVILLE, Va. --- The Delaware State baseball team dropped game two of its three-game series at Longwood University by a final score of 12-5 on Saturday.
 
Offensively Delaware State was led by newcomers Jancarlos Colon and Wilfredo Mendez who notched a team-high three hits each. Trey Paige recorded a multi-hit game while Chris Amparo Evan Bouldin, Krew Bouldin, and Alec Rodriguez rounded out the Hornet hitters on the afternoon.
 
Mendez accounted for half of the team's runs driven in by way of a two-RBI single in the top of the third inning while K. Bouldin and Paige drove in the other runs.
 
Delaware State and Longwood will conclude the series tomorrow afternoon. First pitch at Buddy Bolding Stadium is currently scheduled for 1 p.m.
