DOVER, Del --- The Delaware State women's basketball team dropped a 57-42 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) contest to Howard University on Saturday.

Freshman guard
Savannah Brooks led the offense with 17 points behind 4-of-11 shooting from the field including a pair of three pointers. Brooks also drained seven shots from the charity stripe.
Tyshonne Tollie finished two rebounds shy of a double-double finishing with 12 points and eight rebounds.

Howard was led by Aziah Hudson who scored a team-high 17 points, 12 of which came from beyond the arc.

Delaware State will hit the road Monday for a MEAC matchup with Norfolk State University. Tipoff from Joseph G. Echols Memorial Hall is currently scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
