Dover, Del. (Jan. 16, 2023) --- Delaware State University students and staff, including members of Hornets' sports teams and coaches, will participate in various Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King National Holiday events, including public service projects today. 
Presented by Delaware State University in collaboration with the Inner City Cultural League Inc., the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Holiday 37th annual program celebrates the contributions of one of the world's greatest civil rights leaders. The program is scheduled to begin at noon today in the Education and Humanities Building on campus. The program features The Honorable Karryl D. Hubbard, Secretary of Labor, The Sankofa String Orchestra & Drums, and musical selections. The program is free and open to the public.
