NORFOLK, Va. --- Delaware State sophomore distance runner
Mosa Aboeid has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Runner of the Week for men's cross country as announced by the league earlier today.
Â
Aboeid earned his first MEAC Runner of the Week honor of his sophomore campaign after clinching another top-five finish at the Maryland Eastern Shore Farm Run hosted by University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) over the weekend. Aboeid came in third overall with a final time of 27:35.7. He was the top runner of the MEAC competition at the meet.
Â
Aboeid also becomes the second-straight MEAC Runner of the Week for men's cross country from Delaware State as
Devin Smith garnered the same honor last week.
