Dover, Del. (Aug. 15, 2022) --- Delaware State University has announced that Delmarva Acupuncture and Wellness Center in Milford, Del., is the "Official Acupuncture Partner of Hornets Athletics."  

Under the agreement, Delmarva Acupuncture has the mission and focus to spread awareness of the growing dynamic of acupuncture and its unique benefits for the body as a unit, while supporting Delaware State athletics and its continued efforts to enhance health and wellness throughout the campus community.  

Highlights of the agreement include on-site activation, as well as branding at selected Delaware State athletics facilities.  

"We are beyond excited to start our partnership with the Delaware State Department of Athletics," said. Dr. Ashley Adams, Delmarva Acupuncture owner. "As we strive to serve the community, the university is an important partner to help in that mission. "Acupuncture is for everyone! It is not just a treatment for ailments and injuries; it also provides overall health benefits. With the help of Delaware State, our goal is to show the athletes, as well as their families and the community, that we are another avenue for treatment."
