Dover, Del. (July 20, 2022) --- Delaware State University has announced that Bayhealth, central and southern Delaware's healthcare leader, is the Official Health System of Hornet athletics. 
Under the agreement, Bayhealth will continue to work with Delaware State to provide high quality health and wellness services for Hornet athletes, in addition to partnering with the university on various educational and promotional projects. 
Highlights of the agreement also include Bayhealth naming rights for the court at Delaware State's Memorial Hall Gymnasium, in addition to high level branding on other Hornet athletics facilities, and collaboration on community events.

"Bayhealth has a longstanding tradition of ensuring we meet the healthcare needs of our community – providing high-quality care for these inspiring young people is our privilege."
Delaware State University and Bayhealth have worked seamlessly throughout the COVIDCovid-19 pandemic to effectively address safety concerns and meet operational challenges for the benefit of Hornet athletes, along with joining forces with the Blood Bank of Delmarva to help meet community needs.
