PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --- The Delaware State baseball team fell in the 10th inning 4-3 to the Quakers of University of Pennsylvania on Tuesday.

After being down 1-0 for a majority of the contest,
Trey Paige got Delaware State on the board by way of a three-run homerun to center field putting the Hornets up 3-1 through six innings.

Cole McGonigal tied the Liberty Bell Classic matchup up at three with a two-run homerun of his own in the bottom of the seventh and Ben Miller walked it off for the Quakers with an RBI-single to the gap in right center in the bottom of the 10th.

At the plate, the Hornets were led by
Miguel Rivera who recorded a multi-hit game while Paige's three RBIs were a game high.

Delaware State returns to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) competition this weekend with a four-game series against University of Maryland Eastern Shore. First pitch from Bob Reed Field is scheduled for Friday at 3 p.m.
