DOVER, Del. --- The Delaware State University women's basketball team fell to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Hawks 79-46 in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) contest at home on Wednesday.
Junior guard
Alexis Moragne paced the Hornets offensively with a game-high 19 points including knocking down four shots from the charity stripe and three from beyond-the-arc. She added five boards and three assists to her performance.
Freshman center
Breazia Robinson chipped in with a career-best 10 points. Robinson also hauled in a team-high six rebounds and handed out a block.
The Hornets will hit the road on Saturday in a MEAC matchup with the Howard University Bison. Tipoff from Burr Gymnasium is scheduled for 2 p.m.
