WASHINGTON, D.C. ---The Delaware State University women's basketball team were defeated by the Howard University Bison 83-44 in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) contest on Saturday.
Junior guard
Alexis Moragne led the way for Delaware State with a career-high 21 points. Moragne also recorded five rebounds, three assists and two steals in the loss.
Rebekka Twine chipped in with nine points knocking down a team-best three triples while freshman center
Unique Miller added seven points and 10 rebounds. Freshman forward De'Amoni Jackson hauled in a career-high 11 rebounds in the game.
Delaware State returns to Memorial Hall on Monday for a MEAC matchup with Norfolk State. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
