MORGANTOWN, W.Va. --- The Delaware State women's basketball team dropped a 63-47 nonconference road contest to the Mountaineers of West Virginia University on Saturday.

Delaware State's offense was led by freshman guard
Savannah Brooks who scored a team-high 12 points. Brooks shot 4-of-10 from the field behind a team-best three three-pointers. Brooks added five assists, five rebounds, pair of blocks and one steal in the loss.

Senior forward
Brishonne Tollie chipped in with nine points while
Alexis Moragne and
Denijsha Wilson finished the game with eight points each.

Defensively, Tyshonne Tollie hauled in a game-high 13 rebounds and recorded one steal.

Delaware Sate returns to action Sunday, December 18 for a home contest with Hofstra University. Tipoff from Memorial Hall is currently scheduled for 1 p.m.
