PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --- The Delaware State women's basketball team dropped its midweek matchup to Drexel University 62-44 on Wednesday.

The Hornets were paced offensively by
Savannah Brooks and
Tyshonne Tollie who finished with 12 points each. Brooks who recorded her fifth-straight game with double-digit points, added three rebounds and three assists while Tollie came away with one steal and one rebound.

Jessica Martino hauled in a game-high 11 rebounds and chipped in with three points, one steal and one assist.

Drexel's offense was led by the reigning CAA Player of the Week Keishana Washington who dropped a game-best 21 points while the defensive efforts were led by Hetta Saatman who dished out a game high four blocks.

Delaware State returns to action next Friday, December 30 for its final nonconference matchup of the season against Fairleigh Dickinson University. Tipoff from Memorial Hall is currently scheduled for 2 p.m.
