BALTIMORE, Md. --- The Delaware State women's basketball team were edged out 60-51 by the Greyhounds of Loyola University Maryland at Reitz Arena on Saturday.

With four Hornets scoring in double figures, Delaware State was led offensively by senior guard
Alexis Moragne. Moragne dropped 13 points behind a team-high pair of three pointers while finishing 4-of-8 shooting from the field on the day.

Denijsha Wilson chipped in with 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting from field and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Reigning Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Rookie of the Week
Savannah Brooks contributed 11 points with Tyshonne Tollie rounding out the Hornets who had double-digits in points with 10.

Tollie recorded a team-high four steals and hauled in three rebounds while
Jessica Martino grabbed a team-best six boards in the loss.

The Greyhounds were led by the graduate student guard Taleah Dixon who notched game-highs in points (26) shooting from the field (10-of-15) as well as three-point shooting (5-of-7).

Delaware State returns to action for a midweek matchup in the Route 1 Rivalry with University of Delaware. Tipoff from the Bob Carpenter Center is currently scheduled for Wednesday, November 30 at 7 p.m. Â
