Dover, Del. (Nov. 11, 2022) --- Delaware State athletics honors all military veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
Among those the Hornets salute on this Veterans Day is Michelle Jones, sister of Delaware State football student-athlete Carrington Jones (sr.; Kinsale, Va.). Michelle Jones is a Marine Corp veteran who has continued the family's military tradition. 
Carrington and Michelle's uncle, Ronald Jones, is a retired USMC Col.  Another uncle, Charles Jones (deceased), was a decorated Army veteran, while their uncle Jeff Jones is a retired U.S Air Force veteran.
