DOVER, Del. --- The Delaware State women's volleyball team complete the 2022 regular season sweep of the Eagles of North Carolina Central University with a 3-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) win at Memorial Hall on Friday.

Valeria Otero and
Alondra Maldonado paced the efforts offensively with double-digit point performances. Otero recorded a game-high 14.5 points behind a match-best in kills (12) and service aces (2). Maldonado tallied nine kills and a pair of assisted blocks for a total of 10 points in the win.

Defensively, sophomore middle blocker
Kelsie Dawson led the way with a solo block and a match-high three assisted blocks and with seven kills on the night, she finished the match with 9.5 total points. Libero
Jasmal Cruz notched a game-best 26 digs.

Setters
Malgorzata Andersohn (24) and
Naz Tuncay (17) combined for 41 of the team's 47 total assists. Andersohn capped off her night with 11 digs for a double-double in the win.

Delaware State will return to action on Sunday for another MEAC matchup with South Carolina State University. First serve from Memorial Hall is currently scheduled for 12 p.m.
