DOVER, Del. --- The Delaware State men's cross country team is set to compete in the 2022 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship Race for Men's Cross Country this Saturday.

As a team, the Hornets have four top-five finishes this season including winning its two home meets.

Individually, Delaware State has been led by sophomore standouts Devin Smith and Mosa Aboeid who each have three top-five finishes this year.

Smith has two first-place finishes that came at both home meets along with his third-place finish at the Delaware Invitational to conclude the regular season. Aboeid clinched second place at both home meets this season and claimed a third-place finish at the Maryland Eastern Shore Farm Run.

Jose Rivera-Yetter has claimed a pair of top-five finishes this year coming from both home meets where he finished third in each race.

Bryant Adams Jr. and Ezekiel Dawkins also run well on their home course. Adams Jr. finished eighth in Delaware State's opening meet while Dawkins placed 10 th in the opening meet and then finished fifth in the Hornets' second home meet.

The MEAC Championship Race for Men's Cross Country from the DSU Outreach and Research Center is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start time.
