NORFOLK, Va. --- Delaware State University sophomore distance runner Devin Smith has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Runner of the Week for Men's Cross Country as announced by the league earlier today.
 
Smith recorded his second first-place finish of the 2022 season at the DSU Farm Invite over the weekend. He clocked a final time of 26:59.1, 19 seconds faster than the rest of the field.
 
This is the second time this season that Smith has been honored by the MEAC. He garnered the same accolades back on September 21.
 
Delaware State will return to action this weekend at Delaware Invitational hosted by University of Delaware.
