TOWSON, Md. --- The Delaware State University women's basketball team dropped a 76-47 nonconference contest on the road to the Towson Tigers on Monday.
 
Redshirt-senior Zoe Holmes who had missed the first four games of the season due to injury, made her regular season debut off the bench for the Hornets. Holmes paced Delaware State with a 13-point 10-rebound double-double, both of which were team highs.
 
Sianny Sanchez-Oliver added another double-digit point performance to her freshman campaign as she scored 12 points of her own. She hauled in four rebounds and recorded two steals in tonight's loss.
 
Towson was led by Aleah Nelson and Allie Kubek who tallied 16 points each for the Tigers.
 
Delaware State will be back in action on Saturday at home against the Peacocks of Saint Peter's University. Tipoff from Memorial Hall is currently scheduled for 1 p.m.
