LADY HORNETS WELCOME HAMPTON TO MEMORIAL HALL FOR HOME OPENER

Dover, Del. (Nov. 11, 2021) --- Delaware State and Hampton will renew their women's basketball rivalry Thurs. evening (Nov. 11) in the Lady Hornets' 2021-22 home opener. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall.
Delaware State and Hampton have met 50s time over the years, most while the Pirates were also members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. Hampton departed the MEAC for the Big South Conference in 2018.
The Lady Hornets opened the season with an 87-46 loss to Stony Brook on Tuesday.
DSU had three double-figure scorers in the contest, led by guard Sianny Sanchez-Oliver (fr.) with 13 points on six-of-eight shooting from the field. Alexis Moragne (so.) and Unique Miller (fr.) chipped in with 11 points each. Miller also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
Delaware State was also a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line in the season opener at Stony Brook.
