Elon, N.C. (Feb. 14, 2020) ---Elon combined for 13 runs in the fourth and fifth innings to highlight a 16-4 victory over Delaware State in the baseball season opener for both teams at Latham Park today.
Adam Spurlin and Anthony Galason each had two hits, including a three-run homer, while three other players drove home two runs each  to highlight a 16-hit attack for the Phoenix.
Elon opened the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the first off Delaware State sophomore starter Corey Loper, Jr.
