Dover, Del. (Feb. 1) --- Delaware State competed in the Villanova Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
The Delaware State 'A' team,
Keith Washington,
Kavante Dawson,
Julian Brown and
Kendall Leach, finishes in 1
st in the 4 x 400 relay with a time of 3-minutes-17.17 seconds (3:17.17) the 'B' team of
Edwin Rosembert,
Dante Artis,
Donte Rolley-Williams and
Gerald Amobi (3:18.05).
Freshman
Ibrahim Bangura places first in the 60 meters with a time of 6.85 seconds. Bangura's time qualifies him for the IC4A/ECAC (super conference) meet. Bangura also finishes in sixth in the 200 meters with a time of 22.53 seconds, while
Dante Artis finishes in eighth with 22.58 seconds.
Tre Johnson finishes first in the triple jump with a career best distance of 15.10 meters. This is his fourth time finishing in first place so far this season in the triple jump event. Â Elijah Mclaren (13.87 meters) and
Thomas White (13.82 meters) finishes fifth and sixth in the same event.
Karim Beatty (6.70 meters) and Elijah Mclaren (6.46 meters) finishes in fourth and fifth place respectively in the Long Jump.

Kendall Leach (50.34 seconds) and
Julian Brown (50.44 seconds) finishes sixth, seventh, and eighth respectively in the 400 meters.
