Chestnut Hill, MA (Dec. 20) --- The Delaware State Lady Hornets drop their third straight game, losing to the Boston College Eagles 109-69 Friday morning.

Sharajah Collins started a Lady Hornets run as she converted on a three-point play, after hitting a jumper despite being fouled.
On the next possession Lady Hornets guard
Lyric Turner grabbed the defensive rebound, dribble up the court and hit a three-pointer in transition. Turner hit another three on the following possession to cut the deficit to two at 20-18 with 3:08 left in the first.
With 1:21 remaining in the quarter,
Lyric Turner hit her third three-pointer, cutting the deficit to just 22-21. The junior college transfer finished with 15 points (9 in the 1
st quarter) she also added three rebounds.
Boston College took control in the second quarter, outscoring Delaware State 30-8 in the period. The Eagles scored 18 points in the paint in the second and led 55-31 heading into halftime.
BC led by as many as 43 points with 4:45 left in the fourth quarter.
DSU made just 24-of-76 (31.6%) from the field including 6-of-16 (37.5%) on three-point attempts.
Sharajah Collins tallied nine points, two assists and one steal.
Miajah Bullock and
Zoe Holmes added eight points each.
Boston College shot a scorching 40-of-77 (51.9%) from the field, they also made 7-of-22 (31.8%) on their three-point attempts.
BC forward Taylor Soule led four Eagles' in double digit scoring with 23 points, Soule also added 16 rebounds, four blocks, four assists and two steals.
