NORFOLK, Va., Jan. 9, 2019— Julian Brown was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Men's Athletes of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Brown (So., Wilmington, Del.) shined in the Wagner College Invitational this past Friday, winning gold in the 400-meter dash with a 48.72. He qualified for the IC4A Indoor Championships with that time, which ranks second in the MEAC and tied for 20^th in the nation. Brown also ran the first leg of the Hornets' gold medal-winning 4x400-meter relay team, which turned in a 3:18.39.
