Personal: Son of Karen Minors and James Perkins, a former Morgan State University football player (1991-95)  ... has one brother and one sister ...  cousin of National Football League player Jermon Bushrod (Saints, Bears, Dolphins) ... born 1/16/96 in Fort Washington, Md. ... majoring in Sports Management and minoring in Coaching at DSU ... hopes to become a college basketball coach.
